It's Scotland, so probably cold. Fingers crossed we get a max of 20°c. Make sure you bring a couple of outfit options and check the weather on the day to make sure you will be warm enough.

I'm travelling internationally, when should I arrive?
Alan and I are thrilled our favourite people are considering travelling so far to spend this day with us! We appreciate immensely the time and effort needed for this journey. We understand that an international wedding is a big ask, so we hold no expectations. If there is anything we can do to make the process easier for you, please get in touch, and we will assist in anyway we can. To make sure you have enough time to get settled, we suggest arriving to Stranraer by Friday 21st at the latest.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors in Glenwhan Garden. In case of rain, we will have a marquee.
The reception is indoors in Portpatrick Hotel, but we expect to spend some time on the lawns in front of the hotel.
How do I get to the ceremony?
We will be providing a mini bus to shuttle guests between the gardens and hotel. However, spots are limited so let us know as soon as you can if you plan on using this service
Will there be a bar tab?
A limited bar tab for beer, wine, and cider will be available for the first few hours of the reception. Additionally, lights drinks will be provided after the ceremony ay Glenwhan Gardens. Please note that Scotland has a zero tolerance driving law for alcohol, so if you please on driving to the ceremony keep in mind you won't be able to drink until arriving back to Portpatrick Hotel.
